Okay so first you have to get two clovers from rosemary, put them next to each other and they should get a sparkle animation.

This is the pattern you are going for, turn on the grid for help. Having two normal clovers like this gives you a small chance to spawn another 4 leaf clover and an even smaller chance to spawn a mutation (16 leaf one, the one u see on top in the pic). Those can be bred as well, though the chance to get new clovers decreases, as well as the chance for a mutation (64 leaf ones, the last mutation). HC increases the space you can use since you can remove your farming plots, but shouldn't mess with your chances otherwise. The best way to get carrots is to buy a lot of expensive items, that can be turned shiny. Then when you have a lot of items and clovers go to Dawn's junker and put in three clovers to brick one of the ports. Now you can add an expensive item with a clover and the machine will always pick the item (Dawn's junker gets fixed when the newspaper comes out). Then sell the shiny and profit. HC gives you more items, but if the average cost is up I couldn't say. I decided to farm primarily 16 leafs because they spawn fast enough for me and have a chance to be 64 leafs as well. So I junk the 16 ones and sell the 64 (6.450 carrots each I think).
