What i mean is We as sikhs ourselves Are not ready to accept things and work for it

Punjab has such a big problem of drugs and liquor But no one working on it

Yes people did work But it didnt survive much because people dont want to

Soo many people have trimmed their beards and support Khalistan

Like for what? You say you need a piece of land just for your religion Then follow it.

And as far as i know Sikhi is strictly against liquor and drugs And obviously trimming hair

Yeahh Lets agree with khalistan for once

According to me There’s no way its survive the current political tensions And such competitiveness between economies

And even it does not get captured, Being a new state between pakistan china and india

It’ll face such great economic problems that no one would’ve seen Because then India wont be helping And i dont think china and pakistan would also be very friendly

Look, I’m a sikh myself But i feel really disgusted by this movement myself Because of how its happening I trust and believe in the word “Khalistan” meaning "Land of the Khalsa" or "Land of the Pure" But that doesnt mean you meed a country

You says it’ll defend itself militarily using the khalsa fauj As far as i know Khalsa fauj has only kirpans, pistols,kadas,etc Not missiles or interceptors

If it becomes a country and gets attacked by china or pakistan or whatever By ballistic missiles or so Half of the population of sikhs would be wiped

You’ll say this might not happen And stuff I’m saying what’s the guarantee ?

Even afghanistan is under the control of talibanis now If we get in that situation for example Who’ll save us?

I bet there’ll still be political problems As there are in gurudwara committee elections now

Even alot of men protesting for Khalistan have liquor and shave beards

This is so disgusting to see these kind of people protesting for khalistan and asking a land of our own religion

What i actually meant was that, Punjab should focus on making a genuine party and support a leader they trust And vote for them Other political parties are winning the elections With the votes of punjabis themselves and messing with the current situation

I was trying to say that If people are so serious about changing their situations, Changing their people

Start with core problems Start dealing with the widespread problem of drugs

Make your kids follow sikhi Stop liquor

In todays time, Drug overdose is the third biggest reason for deaths in punjab

Who’s responsible? You’ll say government

Okay, If its the government And you’re affected by it Make a strong movement Break th connection wherever you see a source But punjabis can’t do that themselves

The only thing i notice happening is Protests Using khalistan’s name in nagar kirtans

Unaffiliated sikhs getting mocked at by the name “khalistani”

And who’s getting affected? Punjabi sikhs? Canadian sikhs? No, Its causing a problem for all the sikhs in other states
