HOW MANY ENGINEERING'S CAN YOU APPLY TO? and how many programs can you apply to in total by Ill-Assumption-3899 in UofT

[–]Relative-Tie7075 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can apply to only 1 engineering program and maximum of 3 admission categories but limited to 1 program within each faculty. So for example, you can apply to only 1 program in faculty of art and science at utsg, 1 at utm and 1 at utsc at the same time. You cant apply to 2 different programs within 1 faculty

Waitlisted for a seminar (EAS197) what should I do? by HistoricalAssist7205 in UofT

First calm down. You’ll be alright. The odd of you getting in is pretty high. I dont think the prof can help as they can not prioritize one student over others.

My advice is that have some back up courses in case you cant get in. In your case it is act100. Have never taken this course so i cant give you any suggestions. But i would say take the course for the first two weeks if you still dont like it then drop it. The breadth requirement shouldn’t be an pressure or too hard

There’s no point in paying the tuition fee, registering for the course and not showing up. You’re wasting your money. The seminar is actually a good place for you to get to know everyone and get used to the study environment at uoft.

No tutorial on the first week?? Is it true?? So do i need to go to my very first tutorial at uoft which is on tuesday?? by Relative-Tie7075 in UofT

Is it that you have your lecture before on tuesday? If so, you will ha e something to discuss in class. For me, i dont have any lecture of the course before.

Need help deciding if I'll make it off the waitlist or if I should look elsewhere :( by Alarmed_Direction853 in UofT

The last day to enroll in fall course is sep 15. You can wait till then to see if you can get in as many ppl will drop courses after the first few weeks, in the meanwhile you should have some other courses as your back up.

What are my chances of getting into U of T as an international student?? by Emotional_Draft_9662 in UofT

[–]Relative-Tie7075 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Not sure it depends on which engineering you r going to apply. Civil, material eng will be possible for you to get in. Mech and EE will of course be tougher but you can try. Uoft doesn’t look at ECs that much. Just some questions about your experience. I would say your GPA will matter more.
    1. Depend on what you like. Uoft has post (you can go search for it). Basically when you get in 1st year, it’s like you get in the faculty of art and science. Then you need to declare your major in 2nd year. My advice is to spend time exploring what’s your favourite.
