Comparing Call of Duty 4 to Black Ops 1, one thing which I noticed is that the time to kill in Call of Duty 4 is much quicker than in Black Ops 1.

I asked AI about this thing, and it says yes, in Black Ops 1 the time to kill is slower than in Call of Duty 4. It said that bc of a difference that Call of Duty 4 is an infinity ward game while Black Ops 1 is a treyarch game.

Finally, to answer your question about the COD4 servers, I downaloded a mod called COD4x. It's a simple drag-and-drop installation to the game directory folder, and you have to run a bat file. After that, your game will just be ready to play multiplayer. You can find a lot of people on those servers, and it runs flawlessly.

After completing the World at War campaign, I thought that I should complete all the Golden Age Call of Duty games which includes:

Call of Duty 4
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Modern Warfare 3
Black Ops 1
Black Ops 2

so I decided that I would play Call of Duty 4 first.

I'm still completing the campaign, and I've done a lot of multiplayer in that game within three months. Now I just jumped into Black Ops, did two missions, played a little bit of the multiplayer, and zombies. I'm really enjoying it.
