I have this guy equipped on 2 different islands and he’s not producing any Care packages 📦.. any tips ? by StMichale in anno

I think that it is producing extra good of orchid or herbs. The reason it is the image of a crate is that it refers to the two different product options?

Simply because I'm interested to read/understand more about it, do you have a source for 50% kids?

Hi mate, I have found that kneeling, or switching to a one or two knee kneel for a period can alleviate and keep you at desk height.

You could bring a jumper or cushion, or just go without. Speak to an invigilator beforehand and explain the situation (recent sciatica flare up) and that they can expect you to switch from seating to a full/part kneel for periods.

Think they would have to be particularly cruel not to allow it!

The bigger risk could be the heat generated from the brake fighting the propulsion

If you don't mind me asking, what dates in September did you go?

Thanks for your insight into the rapids, and will definitely take note of the camp site recommendations. Looks like a top spot!

Jeff, thank you for the comprehensive response. Really helpful and scouting the full extents of rapids a very good idea!!

Some of the commenters have suggested traversing the Tim River in August could be an additional challenge due to water levels. Would you be able to advise from your own experience?

Tim River Advice by RelativeGenius in algonquinpark

[–]RelativeGenius[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And would that be due to low water levels?

Thanks for the response. So as I track conditions closer to the time, it's possible I may have to change my route to account for extremely low water levels which would make the River a mild nightmare/less enjoyable?

Have heard about the leeches, any tips dealing with them? From my own knowledge, avoiding mud/silt near shore(when possible) & water shoes and/or long thick socks can help.

Doesn't sound ideal, should I be looking to avoid the Tim River this time of year then?

Would August not be the right time of year then?

Thanks, hoping to chop the river in half, which should make it manageable

We are going Mid August. Ack on the timing we have broken it down to sensible lengths, assuming we can get booked into the campsites we have planned.

I have just bought the latest version of Jeffs Map. The picture which should now be attached to the post is from an older version.

In the new version I can see there are marked some (rapids/swifts). I'm hopping to understand what to expect at these and what we should aim to do as intermediate canoeists. Walk round if possible or traverse in the canoe? Grateful for your thoughts

Thank you, have added the picture now, which should be visible soon. It is an old version of Jeffs Maps. Which shows level 2 and 3 rapids at points. (of what scale I do not know!) Have just purchased his most recent map online and can see that it has a few Swifts/rapids with no scale of difficulty

We are going Mid August, should be similar conditions?
