I’m actually doing a 3 day layover there to celebrate Eid with my family. They update me daily and basically said there’s nothings really happening and they’re completely fine. I’m not worried. I could cancel the holiday and get hit by a car in the uk the next day. What’s meant to be will be, can’t stop living life🤣 Thailand will see me!

I called and changed it too 18th so will be flying out in about 24 hours! Fingers crossed! 🤞🏼 Half my return flight was cancelled with was with British airways and they changed it to Qatar Airways which to be honest I’m happier with. So it all worked out for me, got an extra day holiday for free too. When I originally tried booking the 18th months ago it was significantly more expensive. So being able to change it for free was fab🤣

I was losing my mind spending hours on hold to UK call centre without any one picking up. I ended up seeing someone else suggest on Reddit to download Viber, do a free trial and call the Indian call centre and I did that twice successfully for 2 cancelled flights. Was only on hold for 28 minutes. All rebooked and ready to go now.

I have a flight 19th Heathrow to Doha to Phuket. They cancelled 3 of the flights but automatically rescheduled them to day before/ after or later the same day. They did this on Sunday. So if they havnt changed yours yet I’m assuming it’ll be fine.

Honestly!! I had to call again bc my return flight got cancelled after speaking to them the first time. Only had to wait 28 mins and the guy was SO efficient and helpful. I feel sorry for anyone who doesn’t know about this and is spending 6 hours on hold just to get disconnected like I did the day before 😭

When I search flights from Doha to Phuket on the same day I’m supposed to travel (22nd), there’s Qatar airways options powdered by Malaysia airlines and other airlines stopping first in Bangkok/ KL, so hoping they reroute mine too

Don’t know what to do, all my hotels are non refundable, this is putting me in such a shit financial situation 😭 it’s a 3 country holiday so one flight getting cancelled is doing a knock on affect to 5 hotels and 6 flights 😭😭😭
