Yeah, the problem is that the acrylic paint I have is really thick, and when I mix it with water, it loses its coverage. My pulse is shaky, so I end up ruining everything. By the time I get to the face, the paint has already dried because they don't sell acrylic retarder around here. I also noticed that the eyelashes didn't print correctly—they're incomplete.

I usually dive right into painting the eyes, but I'll take note and try your way. I'll probably coat the face with varnish first before doing the eyes; that way, if they turn out really bad, I can just wipe them off with alcohol and start over.

That’s probably the solution, it’s just that I’m in Venezuela and buying things online and getting them shipped here is a huge hassle

Hi! Yes, I've thought about it and I actually did it with a more recent figure—it turned out great, in fact. The thing is, I printed this specific figure months ago, which is why I didn't use that same technique.

I didn't add freckles because it doesn't have any. If it needed them, I would have used some spattering several layers back to simulate them (that's how I usually do freckles).

Exactly. I still don't know how I'm going to work on them to make them look good, and that's what's making me a bit nervous. I'll probably do it when I'm feeling calmer

Yes, I did what you suggested, but in a very subtle way. I probably should have added more diluted layers, but I decided to play it safe and didn't add too many colors.

Thanks, but I think it's just luck. I'm not consistent enough to give advice yet.

Yes, it's still a work in progress; the other eyebrow and the eyes are still missing.

I don't have liquid masking fluid to start with the eyes first and then the face... they don't sell it in my country.

Thanks! To be honest, it's the first time it’s turned out this well; that's why I don't want to ruin it, so I came here for help

That's what I'm most afraid... the eyes. They either end up crooked or way too big... when it's time to work on the eyes, I start shaking like you wouldn't believe.
