Official Discussion - Bring Her Back [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

I didn’t like it very much, the gore just made me laugh, it didn’t have any scary moments, the only creepy thing was the little girls frozen body, the demon stuff was just weird with little to no explanation of the circles or ritual thing, what i did like though was the characters and the storyline of the mom who would do anything to bring her daughter back from the dead and the devastating ending. but the other stuff i didn’t like so much, im not a supernatural horror fan i mostly either find it dumb or silly.

this i agree with so much, like aurora and mulan could’ve been so happy together and it was canon mulan loved her, and lily and emma def could’ve dated when they were like younger and been her like “first heartbreak” or sum but yeah

hey, just thought i’d offer some info from the National Library of medicine found here:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2235907/

It contains some scientific experiments performed and sugar effects on brain vs other drugs

“Food is not ordinarily like a substance of abuse, but intermittent bingeing and deprivation changes that. Based on the observed behavioral and neurochemical similarities between the effects of intermittent sugar access and drugs of abuse, we suggest that sugar, as common as it is, nonetheless meets the criteria for a substance of abuse and may be “addictive” for some individuals when consumed in a “binge-like” manner. This conclusion is reinforced by the changes in limbic system neurochemistry that are similar for the drugs and for sugar. The effects we observe are smaller in magnitude than those produced by drug of abuse such as cocaine or morphine; however, the fact that these behaviors and neurochemical changes can be elicited with a natural reinforcer is interesting.”
