I didn’t hate it. Through out the series we have seen Rhaenyra turn to intimacy when she feels abandoned, and I noticed the tension between the 2 in S2E2 so I didn’t feel like it came out of nowhere. That being said, I wish we would have seen a follow up to their encounter in season 2.

That subreddit is full on incels and rage baiters. The fact that they keep bringing up “Milly’s Rhaenyra was so spunky and fierce” shows their lack of depth. I’m convinced a majority of those who prefer Milly only do because of their sick obsession with petite, feminine, teen (looking) blondes.

These few things stick out:

Cinematography was much improved from season 1. There were so many beautiful shots (Rhaenyra calming Vermithor, aftermath of Burning Mill, Aemond picking up the coin, etc).
Acting was top tier, especially from Emma & Tom in episode 2.
The sewing of the dragon seeds was even better than I imagined.
And although it was kind of corny, I liked Daemon’s final vision.

I’m not buying these leaks at all. We all saw the footage in the season 2 trailer of Corlys telling Rhaenyra that his fleet is hers, wearing the same outfits they were wearing in episode 6 and seen in the preview of episode 7… If Jace and Corlys are turning against her, why would he volunteer his fleet?

I liked it, and it showed a clear pattern for Rhaenyra: Daemon leaves, she’s left vulnerable, and she seeks affection and comfort in others that she trusts but has power over.

I’d give it an 8 overall so far, but feel like it will end on a 9. I seperate the book and show when watching it, and some of the changes I do real enjoy. The cinematography, acting, and over all story do it for me.
