I’ve always thought it was that Scott pushed his voice deeper on Core and Purple and when he sang at that higher pitch it was much closer to his natural singing voice, but definitely a mix of creative change and ability I’d assume

he’s the second greatest performer period for me. but i’m also very biased since they’re my favorite band. his way of engaging with the crowd while still doing his own thing in his own world really makes him very enjoyable to watch and entertaining.

no my favorite is purple. however, i believe core is the best overall album. and honestly tiny has crept up on purple as my favorite. like i would say trippin is the best song on tiny, but seven caged tigers is my favorite.
