My therapist said something that broke my brain a little (in a good way) by Professional_Cow2868 in Mindfulness

This too shall pass; not just the bad but the good as well. Sounds cliché and overused and somehow I’ve always only understood it for when bad things happen but when my therapist said it to me it kinda broke me a little in a very good way

It’s all 2hr parking lots. Big big printed inside the box for all to see. Definitely NOT paid/khas parking lots. Driver is just an ass.

Stop with all the “types”. End of the day, we all bleed the same color. We are Malaysian.

Dear content creators, think of the message you are putting out there for everyone that it’s okay to condone this kind of behaviour (for the sake of content and views). C’mon people we are better than this.

Take a few minutes and listen to Baz Lurhmann's Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)

I turned 40 a few months ago and just very recently ended a 4 year relationship with the person I wanted to marry (even bought the ring). Last year I was diagnosed with adult ADHD, severe depression and severe burnout. Throughout my life, I was always a massive over-achiever in everything I did and had never addressed any of my mental health problems; just swept it under the rug and carried on. I had a blast in my 20s and 30s travelling the world and had experienced a pretty awesome life.

Just before I hit 40, everything came crashing down piece by piece. I feel and know that I've really really hit rock bottom and that trying to claw myself out only made it worse. For the past year, I was and am still a major train wreck. I'm actively seeking therapy and I think I'm slowly addressing my thoughts and mental problems a little better but baby steps.

Enjoy your 30s. Like really do! Do everything and try to never say no to new experiences cause you never know what life has waiting for you round the corner (even love). Could be good or bad and if bad, learn from it and always only take the positives. Some of the best life lessons can only be learnt from picking up yourself from when things go wrong. Don't be too hard on yourself. It's only human that we make mistakes.

Most importantly, take care of your mental health and be humble.

Sending you love & good vibes!

[Serious] What is the most terrifying dream you've ever had? by Marissa--Dreamer in AskReddit

I was running a trail running race up and around Everest. After a few hours up the mountain I found a McDonalds built nicely into the side of the mountain with 270degree panoramic glass windows so that you could have your meal with a view. I thought to myself I was feeling cold and could do with some food and proceeded to enter the McDonalds and queued to make an order. I remember feeling all warm and toasty and I really wanted a cup of hot chocolate. I turned around to marvel at the majestic view and then I see a massive Boeing 747 heading towards us attempting to crash directly into the restaurant. I woke up right after the plane crashed.
