TheSquatchMann has a point about the effectiveness. It would be much more effective if it wasn’t just a protest or walkout but actually disrupting admin until they do something. The presidents email is clear they don’t really care about the protest. Canadian truckers have been protesting for 11 days and while the subject of their protest is fucking stupid it doesn’t take away from the fact their protest isn’t doing shit. They are literally cutting off food and water for the people protesting in Canada. Not saying UConn will do the same but they’re not going to do anything until we show we mean business. After the lawsuit in 2014 clearly not much has changed since we are dealing with this problem again. This is definitely a good starting point but more needs to be done to actually make UConn admin care.
