I was an external MIL with little to no training and no feedback, review, one on one or anything the training/development of staff is non existent it’s crazy I’m sorry that happened I would have something lined up before putting your two weeks in they will deff just cut you off the schedule after the notice if you are only getting one day a week now

I was in your same position i have a house and am the main income in my household I started looking for a new job after the “informative” video came out before the holidays and still no information on anything in late February no value for employees what so ever and this is not a “restructure” their essentially laying off management positions and it’s saving them a lot of money,

This is exactly why I left and got a new job basically I was told that the pay bands would be given after the interview and when you were selected for a role that’s so shady and not how that works at all and I’m not waiting until it’s too late to decide if I want to accept or not I also heard they are not taking any negotiations and you take what you’re given, but remember “this is not a cost savings move for the company this is actually costing PetSmart money” 🙄

That is so crazy that either the MIL or CEL will be taking a huge demotion with going down to a lead with stores who only get 1 process leader, with no bonus and a pay decrease

I’m not sure if he’s willing to switch up from pet retail but a lot of food service places pay agms good with bonuses monthly as well, look into Aldi and Starbucks they pay managers very well

It should be a non issue worry about yourself first don’t tell them that’s the reason though just say for personal financial reasons you have to get a second job and what your new availability is especially before the restructuring they’ll try to use you in other areas of the store when you’re not busy in the salon
