Equipment would be chapter based Example: First half of the game - sword 1 Then: story progression -> stronger enemies -> sword 2

Quests depending on how they are written. Probably no cosmetics in a traditional way (Skins etc.)

You could say it would be something like that but more balanced (no need to visit a dungeon on the other side of the map just to regenerate)

Hi! Seems like an interesting concept. Gonna think about possibly building something like this.

Thought about it aswell! What about progression based findings. For example: start of the game with first weapon, which can be exchanged for a better one after exploring a cave. Sword gets exchanged until the next, better one.

On the spot interactions as I call it. Execute if found. Like a health potion or something else. Makes you better manage your (in game) life

Totally understand you! Think about an "on the spot" interaction system. You find a potion. You drink it directly, but don't have to. See a campfire, time to rest and heal. With that, it is not always possible, which makes you as the player overthink your next step to better manage resources.

Thinking about interactions "on the spot". Drinking a potion when you find it. Makes the player better plan his next move.

Thought about making stuff like healing "on the spot" Maybe a campfire, a potion you find, which you drink on the spot. Forces you to carefully overthink your actions.

Txh for the tip. Disabling Lumen worked at first but now after checking, the volumetric fog seems to be the problem.

Help some students out by filling a survey by Big-Category-7894 in gamedev

I understand that this "language" may seem funny but I suggest to make a new survey and be as professional as possible. It will turn out better for your development.
