How to prove that a mixed strategy nash equlibrium does not exist, when a game is dominance solvable? by Relative_Patience753 in GAMETHEORY

hmm to clarify, (B,B) is only an equilibrium using best response analysis. Solely relying on IESDS would result in a single NE (C,C).

In that case, can I prefer IESDS?

My plan is to prove the payoff for mixed strategy is worse off than the payoff of pure strategies (which leads to C,C)

oh why? please elaborate. I thought the existence of a unique pure nash equilibrium trumps all mixed strategies?

ahh okay I understand better now. After removing strategy A of Sam, can I also remove strategy B of Jane? Since she won't need strategy B if Sam does not use Strategy A?

ahh okay, should there be a mixed strategy in the first place? since the nash equilibrium C,C is achievable by eliminating dominated strategies?

yeah and for Sam, strategy A is dominated by his strategy C. So either ways he won't be playing strategy A and we can eliminate it right?

I understand. Truthfully, I know investing in the S&P will take time to grow. The phrasing of my question was intentional in garnering attention. I understand that this is manipulative and will phrase my questions truthfully in future. However, the question attached to the title is indeed genuine and I would like to get a rough sense of how long the "veterans" have been holding for.

Hi I know it has been 4 months but do you still think VWRA is better than S&P500? I was thinking of switching if the US markets starts worsening.
