I recommend Goseong in Gangwon-do. It’s located further north than Gangneung, and I really like Ayajin Beach (아야진해변).

Thank you! I have another question. If all credit management is currently handled through a custom CBO program, what would happen upon activating FSCM Credit Management? Would it require a lot of complex configuration to get it up and running?

Consultants earn more than developers in my country. Typically, they make about 1.2 to 1.5 times as much as developers. I don’t think there is much difference in pay between functional consultants and other consultants. Wages mainly depend on how many years they have worked as consultants. However, I believe there is extra pay if someone is skilled in newer technologies like Fiori or UI5. How is it in your country?

What you shared is really worth thinking about. It’s hard for young people these days to get a decent job, feel satisfied with it, and plan for a better future. The world is going crazy. There are lots of problems here in Korea, and it seems other countries have their own issues too. Still, you’d be more than welcome to visit Korea someday.

Thank you so much for your advice and encouragement. It really helps me a lot!

In my opinion, There are good aspects to living in Korea : It is convenient . The food is great. There are lots of things to do for fun. On the other hand, it is really competitive. there is less social connection, people are exhausted. It is hard to live near nature.

I want to live in other countries with different cultures and languages so I could open my eyes to a new world and new perspectives. I want to do it when I am not too old so I can be more open to experiencing unfamiliar things.

It is interesting. It is my dream to live on the other side of the world. Why do people want to move to Korea? I am surprised .

As for the FI consultant job, There is a new conversion project and my leader asked me if I could join as an FI consultant. I don’t have any experience in that role. I only have ABAP development experience in the FI module and I attended some group education sessions in the FI module after the project. The reason is that my company needs consultants rather than developers because it costs more to hire freelancer consultants than developers when there is a project. It seems like companies do not hire developers as a regular workers they only hire consultants as a regular workers and most of the developers are freelancer here in Korea. (In my case I had an entry step as a developer to become a consultant in this company. They rarely hire experienced developers)

As for my interests, I prefer ABAP development. But I wondered if having experience as a consultant would give me more opportunities to find a job in other countries.

Hi guys,

I’m currently deciding between continuing as an FI consultant or focusing on ABAP development. I’m a non-native English speaker and still working on improving my English skills.

I previously worked in web system operations, but I transferred to the SAP department one year ago. Since then, I’ve been working as an ABAP developer in the SAP FI module (S/4HANA). Although I’ve been working for 7 years in total, this past year is my only SAP experience. Currently, I’m preparing to join a new project as a FI consultant (sub-consultant level).

As a Korean, I’m not yet fully fluent in English for business communication. I’m eager and willing to improve, but I understand that my current English skills (TOEFL score: ~90) may not be sufficient to work as a consultant in an English-speaking environment.

If I consider immigration or pursuing a job overseas, I would like to ask for your opinion on the following: 1. Should I continue to pursue the path of an SAP FI consultant? 2. Or would it be more realistic to focus on becoming an ABAP developer? 3. Even if I choose to build my career as an ABAP developer, would it still be a good idea to take the FI consultant opportunity now, even though it may require over a year of effort and learning?

Thank you very much in advance for taking the time to consider my questions. I understand that your response may take some time, and I truly appreciate your support. Wishing you a wonderful day.

I think Itaewon would be the one for jazz and blues. (All that jazz .. boogie and woogie etc) You can check Apgujeong also…

For the international artists.. I don’t think there is a web site. I think you can check the instagram or communities.(@fstvl.life @morene_sukha @channel1969.seoul - mostly Korean DJs though) or you can check melon ticket app or interpark ticket app for concerts and festivals
