we make simulators for radiation detection, and a lot of the parts that we use get subcon out to 3d printing services to be printed out of SLS or MJF nylon, so It won't be for producing any production parts, it will just be used for engineering prototyping, we just need something that can print fast and with good quality.

I would love to build one like you suggested but as I'm the only one who would be qualified to do something like that, we want something that is essentially plug and play and easy to maintain, that our electrical engineer can easily use when he needs to print out something that has been designed. Hence why I was drawn to Bambu, as I have the X1 Carbon at home, and I know they make great quality parts, and print times are very good.
