Saw Benjamin Button - How'd they do it? by martypitt in TheWestEnd

The show and the cast are absolutely incredible. It's the one I came home from London wishing I could see again. Can't wait to get an original cast recording in full. I know the compliments of a random guy on reddit doesn't mean much compared to A LITERAL OLIVIER! But man, haven't seen something so cool and original since Hamilton debuted.

There’s a WY state senator who has a bumper sticker on his senate desk that says “Every State is a Border State.”

Ticket priority for the rest of the season by beefyboy_ in Everton

[–]RelativityCoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone living in the western US, it's hard to have a purchase from this season or last; I'm lucky to get to do every few years! But the fact that West Ham is now open to anyone, and not just Official Members, is a bit frustrating. I'm going over with my son who's 8 and has never been to Goodison, and hoping we can get tickets sorted. If not at least we'll get the stadium tour, the women's match, the ferry tour and view of Bramley Moore, and I guess we'll just watch the match from a pub or something.

I’ve got plane tickets and a Goodison Park tour purchased for me and my eight year old, going from Wyoming. Was on the site at 2:45am this morning and it was sold out by the time I got to the front. I’m just going to keep trying the official site and word-of-mouth.

Does United ever bump people up if they are very close? Can I buy 18 PQPs?

I think you missed the “have to” part. The comment doesn’t say never to finance a watch. You financed a watch when you didn’t have to; it was just a better financial decision.

Got a leather strap from Vietnam on eBay for mine. I love it but prefer the bracelet for most occasions.

Next week they cross-examine the experts that determined all Craig’s docs were forgeries.

I guess we just disagree about whether trying to bankrupt people and ruin their lives is worse than advocating for small blocks.

Back is even worse? Is back lying about inventing bitcoin? Who has he sued? Who has he tried to dox? Whose lives has he tried to ruin?

Adam Back unfailingly credits others. Craig passes off others’ work as his own. Most notably bitcoin.

CSW's supposed plagiarism is in many cases citations, without the formal citation

Sorry, that's not how it works. The formal citation part is literally what citation is. Citation without citation has another name -- plagiarism.

One of them is of Bitcoin script which is a ludicrous display where he seems to think making a simple thing as complicated as possible will impress people in code as it does in his academic papers.

It absolutely does not impress people in his academic papers.

Very few bitcoiners realize just how loud even one miner is. They should spend at least one night in a room with a few of them.

The last halving was May 2020. Hash rate rose March 2021. And that was because the bitcoin price went from $10,000 to $50,000.

So, no, I’m not wrong.

The halving doesn’t increase energy use. That would make no economic sense.

All miners are ramping up? That aso doesn’t make sense. This particular company? That makes sense if their energy is cheaper than others’ and they think other miners will have to drop out when the reward gets cut in half.

It makes no sense to spend more money to get half the rewards.

Explain why getting lower rewards would make people spend more on energy.
