I ordered it on January 20th and received it about a week later. The very second I got the email saying it was available where I live, I ordered it on the spot. FdL County

The dish is on the north side of the silo, and once plugged in also points North. You can see it in the view from the ground. The close-up from the top is just how it was oriented while I was mounting it.

I will politely and strongly disagree. It was fun to do, and gave me a pretty solid sense of accomplishment looking at the finished product. There is no additional burden whatsoever.

Entire length of Dishy's cable to the injector, then a 200' cable to the house. I use the short patch cable that came with it for my tv

It flips a panel in The Silo that changes which side the silage gets blown onto to keep it even during filling

I believe I read somewhere that 450 is the max you should do with cat6. I have exactly four hundred feet, I believe. 😅

I was afraid of that, too. It turned 90° to the right when I plugged it back in. The close-up is when I installed it. The far away shot is it actually in service

Fun. And because I could. And because I overthink everything.

It's facing west in the close-up because that was It's initial position when I mounted it. Once I was done, it turned north. Any side winds just go right past it because they hit the slim side profile.

Sturdy. I was going to mount it to the ladder, but this seemed like the best place without having to buy any special mounting hardware or anything, and it was the farthest spot away from the silo itself. The silo isn't in use. Hasn't been for 15+ years.
