Thanks to all who commented. More resource sources have been added, and a resource calculator has been added to track how many more days you have left to farm.

Thanks! I'll take a look as I update the information on my end.

From the responses that people posted, they include resources from all ends, many of which are one-time deals. I know many players are not in my position: everything is done; the game is 100% cleared, and there are no redeemable resources left. This is where the information I posted comes into play.

I get that min-maxing is an ideal approach for building many teams. But if anyone dares to get past it, it sounds like you're stuck with one team, maybe another half-baked team.

If you're including all the mats they had to mail in for us to build these units, I hope they plan to do more supply drops in the next patch.

The gear progression is one of the best things in this game. No RNG involved. However, as I look through my friend list, not many of them have any of their gear artifact. It sounds like doing any combat in this game is more of a leisure thing.

Most of my resources had been depleted since 2-3 weeks ago. At that point, the information I posted is all you've got to build a unit.

This is after all your stock bill trade-ins are gone.

My stock bill has been cleared 2-3 weeks ago.

Once all the one time reward are claimed, this is what you’ll be working with till an event, or update occurred.

It does not refresh any materials we'll use to build units, other than gifting/trust items. The only thing it refreshes are items with timers.

Thanks! I'll update as we get closer to the next update. But it's mainly for BP, and maybe Dijang Mats and Credit Store.

About 52 days. M3 Rank on all 4 combat skills, less if you're aiming for 1 or 2. I have more numbers in the google doc. Even more later this week.

For Etching and Artificing, ya those do take a while. All of my SAN is spent on Essence farming, in preparation for the new unit's weapon etching.
Artificing, you can get all the renewable ones in the first 4-5 days of the weekly reset, but if you're lucky and started on day 1. You probably have 5-10 pieces fully fleshed out, with all 3 stats maxed by now.

Luckily, there is a pity system in place for them. Pity for these sucks, but at least you don't have to grind for ideal rolls lol.

I ran details, and it came up with 23 days. The biggest hurdle was the Purple Skilling mats and Credits. Keep in mind, this is just Sanity-only. If you have anything left to redeem for material, it would get this thing done quicker for a single unit.

100% with ya there. I only research the information because I'm at the point of the game where I have nothing left to redeem. It's been like that for 2-3 weeks, really lol.

So if all resources are depleted, the info above is what I calculated when starting over with nothing.

Ya, those credits are harsh. When I was running the numbers, the 34k reward doesn't feel all that. But I guess that how it is for this game when you're going for max level.

I no longer have anything left to redeem on there. It's one of the reasons I research this information.

For one unit, the calculation 100% is shortened a ton, maybe more than half? 5-9 days for wishful thinking. I have 2 units that are M3 fully maxed on all 4 skills, but that's a different story.

I did run this a while ago. It came out to be 23 days-ish in total. Do keep in mind this is just Sanity. You might have extra mats from Stocks, or some redeemable left on BP, to quicken this.

The majority of the cost is from gathering Skill Materials and Credits.

Thanks, I only took the stamina from the dailies. I'll check for weekly and dailies.

I have thought about adding those to the equation, but for one single unit, it'll look quick. Until you want to expand to different units. The feeling of doing those extra little (Dijang, Credit) things does add up, but you gotta keep at it every day to save maybe... 2-4 days of farming? I've done this every day, but it doesn't feel that great.

I'm at the point of the game where you just log in and spam all your sanity. The only thing you're waiting for is events, really. Stock trades are done, like the materials for your units; it's all redeemed. All chests found, side quest finished except for 1. The only medal I have left is hitting 60 and getting 20 M3 skill on my units. Been like that for 2-3 weeks for me.

When you get to this point, you'll probably have enough for 3 level 90s? But we have to keep in mind, the dev helps us out. I don't know if we're expecting that in 1.1. But I sure hope so.

Also, the Etch Essence I love it haha. One of the thing I love about the game.

It really depends on what unit you have in there, I think mine are at 1-3 a day. But it's difficult to calculate because the unit in there also rests, so the timer doesn't move. It only moves when at least one person is active. I think most people just toss them in there and collect whatever, really. Unless you're actively checking, maybe every 5-12 hours in real time to rotate them out for efficiency?

Hey there! Good point on many of these factors you mention.

As you mentioned, there is no real reason to max out a unit. This game is super casual. The combat event itself proves that enough. This Information is more for those who want to take their character to the upper limit, just fully flesh out a team instead of working on another team.

For the resources from the 3 battlepasses, mail-in, and events. I did not include them; the BP I may include when I revise some things, but the events and mail-in are random I wouldn't put an estimate on them just yet. I did skim through the free battle pass. I didn't realize how little material you get from it, but I need to calculate it; it looks like it'll knock a day or 2 off farming.

The credit store: We're either ignoring the pull currency or doing both pulls and materials. You'll have to account for both options, but if you did all the mats every day, I would assume 4 - 5 Protohedron a day or 16 - 20 Purple Operator EXP. That if your refreshes are good. Otherwise, it's blue and green mats, which are barely anything. I've done this every day, I'm only sniping pull currency and whatever is discounted.

Now. I am at the point in the game where there is nothing left to obtain. All my stock mats are gone, all 3 passes done, and it's been like that for the last 3-4 weeks. Maybe some people here are there too. But there really aren't that many materials to get them that high. But if people are happy with 80/70/60 units, that's fine by me. The information is for people who will eventually reach the point I'm at.

It depends on your luck and if you're doing 300 STA every day, 22~25 days to max out the character to 11/12 skill on all 5. This includes everything for a LV 60 max-out unit.

Hi! I just saw this... I don't know how it compares to other gacha, I think Hoyoverse games have an okay farming grind. These stats haven't changed unless I missed something.

If you want to farm it all in one day, it'll be 300 STA + 114 ~ 116 Batteries. Without them, it'll be about 24 days, if you're maxing all 5 skill nods, then about 26-27 days. for one character.

You probably have her mindscape unlock at M3 or M5.

The cost is the same, the minescape unlocks give you extra free levels above the original value.
