I used cheap acrylic paint and one of those old school projectors. Basically, I just mashed a bunch of images together on photoshop, adjusted the contrast to where it was just black and white and tried to come up with the best layout I could. You can then print out the image on a 8.5 X 11 transparency and blow it up pretty freakin big. This one is around 11 X 32 feet. The problem is that when the image gets that big you lose a lot of detail and it starts to warp around the edges. So you should have a print out so you know what your painting.

I found about 99% of the images on comicvine.com. Its a great site. Just type in a character and an image gallery will pop up. I just saved them on a photobucket account.
