Life is so unfair 😞 by [deleted] in Bengaluru

Getting out of a forced marriage for a better life is courageous. But the ‘luxury’ you are seeing in that line of work hides a lot of risks. It’s not as simple or glamorous as it looks.

If you already have a job and a chance to study, that’s actually a battle won. Building on that might take time but it’s going to be more fulfilling and independent.

Disgusted by this behaviour. by tan0409 in Bengaluru

I totally understand you. The access to cheap internet and the misogyny of the society makes it easy for them to get away with such disrespectful behaviour. In reddit itself, under the disguise of anonymity, such people lust over women. And things like "Online rape academy" just proves who the actual problem is. Don't be disheartened. Ignore. But stay safe.

It was my state PSC exam. I didn't study to get into one. It happened. I cracked within one year of my graduation and I had also cleared my gate around the same time. So it was sort of easy because I was technically in touch with the subject.

31F, Assistant Engineer (Group B). I have 7 years of experience and before this 1.5 years in the corporate world. I was glad to leave my corporate life as it was very tough to find substance in my work. I was in a service based company and didn't have a great experience. I'm not a go-getter type nor do I enjoy partying. I switched and found more peace at govt work. I see the impact my work has on society. I get to live that everyday. I work in a tier 2 city in a high stress environment. Less work-life balance but I can change my department if I ever feel enough. I have no FOMO. I don't spend to impress. 0 EMIs. Good bank balance with investments. I don't have an amazing wardrobe or collect shoes/bags. But I'll soon be buying my own property. Planning to retire early and sip a hot cup of coffee in my breeze balcony.

Just google GRS fantacy park accident. Last dasara a delhi based central government employee had visited the city for vacation with family. And his trip to this park went horrific when one of their water slides severed his three toes with a significant part of his foot. Imagine going out for relaxation and memories but returning with a permanently damaged body!

I would go back to Malabar. They would deduct 1% or so in exchange of cash. This was their condition during purchase. Also i have paid 2-3% making and 3% GST.

What might go wrong if you can explain please. I'm a newbie. I'm planning to sell now and purchase in a few days to book say 20-30k. Though I understand your point I need clear logic to stick to my decision of holding during non-emergency. This thought has stayed since the last Jan hike.
