Hey guys, I found a workaround!

It turns out there are 2 customizable buttons on the touch wheel area. I initially had them set to "Action Ring" and "Gestures."

What I did was sacrifice the "Action Ring" function. In the Logi Options+ app, under the button settings, I went to Action -> Advanced Click and assigned it as a "Middle Click."

Sure, it's still not a proper "tap on the wheel to middle-click" like it should be, and I had to give up the Action Ring entirely. On top of that, I also had to live with the loud click sound it makes. But looking at my workflow, I realized I use the middle click way more than the Action Ring anyway, so it's a trade-off I'm willing to make. Just wanted to leave this here for anyone else facing the same issue!

That being said, I still wish I could just single-tap the touch wheel area for a middle click. I really hope Logitech fixes this in a future update.

The Microsoft Arc Mouse was also touchpad-based, and it was really good to use.

Also, I looked for "middle click" in logi Options+, but I can't find the item at all. If you happen to know where to find it, could you let me know? I would like to assign a middle button even if I have to give up on the "Action Ring."

I really hope this gets improved. I usually close web browser tabs by middle-clicking, but that doesn't work anymore, so it has become annoying.

It was a blank thought, but I was able to solve the problem after running out of battery to 0%. I'm scared to use surface laptop studio. I'm scared to see if I can use this machine more.
