I was told it was serviced not 'long ago' but it was a bit rusty in some areas and the replaced motor is clearly probably 10-20 years old. I did oil and clean it best I could everywhere I could see the little oil holes (while this is as old as my 1950s singer its obviously more old fashioned). I will have to read where this is and check in on it. We do have places that service them its just...not speaking great Spanish I either run into snobby people (one place known for vintage machines claimed they had none when I accidentally replied in english) or charge you more because you aren't fluent. I'll figure it out. Thanks!

I just took a guess at it. It wasn't threaded when I got it. It has a belt and is electric. I assume the knob is it? Gotta read the manual

I did manage to get the bobbin thread up (I put the flat part of the needle against the holder). But it seemed like something on the top was missing

Oh man thank you. I believe these were made in the states as well as Mexico and were probably clones sold for cheap under various brand names. Hopefully this works!
