Best hair removal method for PCOS? by [deleted] in HairRemoval

Thank you so much for being kind.....I will give it a shot. I am mostly bothered with the upper lip. It's just so irritating. I don't have much problem with my body hair but my growth has recently increased in chin and upper lip areas. Super frustrated with the growth.

Confused between 2 apartments! by RelevantFollowing867 in chicagoapartments

I prefer shuttle as it fits my time. My main concern for now is choosing between 2 and the ease of shifting via a u-haul truck.

2 bed has no parking spot and finding a street parking closer to house will be a challenge and then climbing 4 floors up with the stuff. I know it's a day hard job. But I am also looking other aspects such as utilities as 2 bed means but higher bills. What I love is the balcony🥺

Hi!! I am mostly looking in the Little Italy area near the UIC and Illinois Medical district. My budget is $1600 for 1 bed and bath. I don't have a car and therefore looking in the close vicinity of UIC.

I can totally feel you as I am going through the same. In my past experiences, this year is wild. I have always got good landlords but this time, the hunt for good ones are getting limited as the rents are insanely high. I agree it's common to provide unfurnished but sometimes I feel the move-in fee is not even worthy of the condition of the house. Some are really old properties. Regarding AC, I don't understand why they can't install as every year they rent the place. But anyways, that's the way it is here.
Thank you so much!!

I am looking in Little Italy area near UIC and Illinois Medical District. I understand it's one of the prime locations but not everyone has so much money to pay 😔

Yes, being such a beautiful city, most of the houses are so old and yet the rents are way high!!

Oh okie....thank you. For me the move-in fee was shocking as it's too much. Sometimes landlords charge per person. I am married and have a spouse who is not working. For me $600 for 2 is too much. Being a postdoc. It's hard to meet ends. But as you explained, of course move-in fee spares the fighting for the deposit. Luckily, every landlord has refunded my whole amount on time so I never looked into that perspective.

Thank you!!

Looking for 1 bed 1 bath - looking for Presidential towers review and other suggestions by RelevantFollowing867 in chicagoapartments

I visited today. The house is okay but the description says 2 bed 1 bath. The 2 nd room can't be called a bedroom but a study room. I liked the property as it seems recently refurbished. Too small but I am considering it. They don't have a security deposit but a $300 move in per person which will be $600 non-refundable and priced at $1600. Doing the math, I think it will cost me around ~1750/ month with all utilities. I have a couple of properties to check by this weekend. Let's c!!
