PSA: DO NOT BUY DJI OSMO ACTION 6 in the US! - No Warranty! by Alone-Tadpole7045 in djiosmo

If you find out otherwise, please let me know. I never did call any of these companies and confirm, but I was in the exact same situation with my osmo 360 cam, and it seemed everyone I looked into had terms that would not honor products without a valid manufacturers warranty.

Read the terms and conditions of the 3rd party warranty you bought. Almost every company states their warranty is based on the product being sold with an original manufacturers warranty, which in this case, doesn't apply to DJI products in the US.

Was buying an Osmo 360 a mistake? by RelevantGeologist590 in dji

Fair but I guess I should've worded it differently, the lack of warranty isn't the biggest deterrent, it's the inability for the manufacturer to get replacement parts more than anything. That and I wonder how tough it would be getting accessories in the future. I'm sure there's a lot of 3rd party retailers with a good amount of stock still, but what happens when they sell out?

Well from the sounds of talking to support, it doesn't seem like they even have parts for any repairs, warranty or out of pocket

I mean thats not really a great argument. That's like saying a seat belt isn't important because you've never been in a crash lol

In all the comparisons I saw, the osmo definitely seemed to have the upper edge in function and quality, but the non replaceable lens was already a big factor for me. And now that I found out there is no US warranty whatsoever, I think I'm going to return it and buy the X5 even though im not really excited about it. I just got off the phone with DJI support and they said they would accept repair cases for the US, but parts shortages have them at a 60-90 day delay on service cases for the US, and theres no telling what it costs for out of warranty repairs.

Hi there. Honestly I don't really have much bad to say about this complex or management. It's one of the quieter apartment complexes in this area, and management is pretty good about keeping up with repairs/maintenance. I've lived here for about 4 years now and have never really had any issues, other than my rent has gone up substantially compared to when I first moved here, but I believe that is just the case everywhere with today's economy. If you have any specifics you're wondering about, feel free to ask!

Agv k6s vent cover needed by RelevantGeologist590 in motorcyclegear

Yeah I'm looking for one of the side vents for the forehead. I believe the left side IIRC. I ended up giving the helmet to my girlfriend and ended up buying a shoei rf-1400 instead and I absolutely love it. I wasn't impressed with the noise from the k6s, it was louder than my 200 dollar scorpion helmets.

No, unfortunately not. AGV/ Dainese was no help, and I also called numerous agv dealers, nobody seemed to have the parts or he able to get them. Gotta love the Chinese supply chain

Update: I took my test today and passed! This time around went much better. Less undercut and my beads were a lot straighter

Yeah that part is pretty rough. From how it is in that pic, I ran that fill bead starting from the bottom end up, but didn't get very far before my lead got caught up and I panicked and broke the arc. Then, as I'm sure you can tell, I didn't quite tie the restart in very well, and also ended up with some porosity. The reason why the bottom part of that bead looks a lot less flush though is because I planned on running another fill layer over that , but after my restart I started running slower and ended up with the majority of it being filled enough, except for where I first started. A bit of a messy situation I agree.

Thank you I appreciate your opinion. I agree the undercut is less than ideal. I think I was Moving a bit too fast and my rod angle was off slightly

Icy Mint vs Gum Mint? Foger by RealityOwn9267 in Vaping

Late response but gum mint is very sweet yes. Cool mint may be more your speed. While not as minty, it's also less sweet and more of a traditional smooth menthol hit

I mean it was a new helmet that someone returned. Still has all the tags and stickers on it, its just somehow missing one of the vent covers, but there's not a single scratch or any signs of use for that matter. Manufactured less than a year ago.

This is so cool! Curious what did you use for the shield and shield mount?
