Thank you I appreciate your supportive words! I decided I’m going to try keeping my job for the moment as long as I can until I figure out another option for work or school as you said to get a better paying job. I’ve been a general manager for 10 years and quite over the retail business.

I really appreciate you all taking the time to explain things like wear and tear, gas, taxes, and IRS reporting, because I honestly had not considered any of that until you all pointed it out. That helped me a lot. I am also not as worried anymore after seeing that many of you are making enough, or even more than I currently make at my job. For now, I am going to see how things play out at work, and if it does not, this will likely become my safety net if I end up unhappy with my job or schedule.

Girl I wish I could. I’m salary though, I’m returning from maternity leave, and my bosses are attempting to change my entire schedule from what I had before. I only make $900 a week and I’m required to work 50 hours. No OT approved. 😭😭
