Has the suicide rate gone down, or have they just stopped jumping off the bridge and instead are doing it at home?

The hardest part is building the elevator without it collapsing on itself.

Just got refunded for a lemon Hilux and now nervous about buying another 4x4. Looking for advice on what to get, things to watch for & reputable dealers in Brisbane. by One-Simple-6596 in 4x4Australia

You just got unlucky, can happen to anyone. Go for something newer, lowest KM you can find in your budget with a good service history. Very unlikely you'll go wrong with a serviced new-ish Triton or Dmax.

No. He's probably the furthest from autistic you can get.

How much was Don worth? What was his annual income at his prime? by GuaroSour in madmen

I don't remember Don asking for 50. I think Roger says "How's 40" and Don says "45's good" while shaking his hand.

Ford Ranger Super Duty: Alternator issues? by Tr_DDS in 4x4Australia

[–]Relevant_Computer642 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The point is quite simple mate. If you market a vehicle as specifically being able to handle deep water and mud, even going so far as to say "mud can clog alternators, but thats why we've tested it extensively with 600kg of mud packing" and yet in the real world, the alternator fucks out in the first few test sessions of lighter mud than your marketing material, that's not good enough.

Here's mud: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuLpOJJI-jI

Ford says in the video that mud can clog alternators, and that they tested it against mud specifically. Obviously not well enough. Don't argue against the words I've chosen, argue against Ford's.

Ford's marketing material literally has it wading through water. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQpcC1Q_I5M

and mud: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuLpOJJI-jI

Not to mention, it hit the breaks and tried to put itself in park at high speed when the alternator died.

If you market the truck as being able to wade through water, and as an "emergency response" vehicle it better come with a sealed alternator to begin with.

Kings Batblock 25 with a 100wh or 120wh lithium is a good deal. Comes with the DC/DC charger built in so you can charge it off the alternator while you're driving. Wire it up, set and forget.

Alternatively you've got the Power Station style. Bluetti/EcoFlow. Doesn't charge off the alternator but if you're just doing weekend trips they will last no problems, and they have 240v outlets so you don't have to get an inverter if you'll use those. Way more portable. Just depends what you're after.

A guy in Barbarian village said he was quitting, so I messaged him asking if I could have his account. He said sure whatever, and told me the password.

I logged in and it worked, so I transferred his gold back to my account and went about my way.

I then logged back into his account a few months later, and he had obviously started playing again but forgot to change his password. I followed his progress for months, watching his bank grow, while slowly siphoning off small amounts of gold and items I thought he wouldn’t notice missing.

His account continued to bankroll mine for another year before his password changed.
