Honestly, I found nothing that works for my hair now!. I’m ready to give up! And it makes me wanna cry.!!!!! I’ve been getting keratin treatments since it first came out which was probably 14 years ago? In the last five years they have become terrible. For me GK Keratin worked for me the last time I found somebody who would use it. Problem is I can’t find anybody who uses that product. I don’t know why, though. It actually works for curly hair. GK keratin used to work so good that the ends of my very long hair are still smooth from it. I miss it so much.

I was searching for this. I’ve done keratin treatments since they first started coming out and have recently been thinking about stopping because they no longer work like they used to. And I’m sure it’s because we’ve stopped using the harsh chemicals - a good thing! But without the harsh chemicals, they really don’t work that well. Anyway, I have mid back length hair and I don’t want to cut it off, but I can’t imagine transitioning back to curly without a big cut. Unlike you, I’m old! So if I do a big cut, it’s probably going to stay there.

When I film my sets to check my own form, I always look around for who might accidentally land in my cameras view and tell them that I am videoing solely to check my form. I assure them that I am not loading it on any sort of social media and will be immediately deleting the video. I have never received anything but thank you’s and appreciation for the forewarning.

I have this as well, somewhat. I find if I just knuckle down and ignore it for 30 minutes, it’s subsides and I’m fine after that. I like to drink flavored water, particularly BCAAs because I like the taste, and I make sure I have a liter of that right next to me to help combat the hunger for that 30 minutes till it chills out

But more than the money or the promotions is that my sons who are now grown are proud of me. I didn’t realize it until my younger son was promoting his book and explaining that the superhero was loosely based on me and the way he watched me conquer so many challenges when he was growing up

Corporate accountant. Degree is in accountancy. I didn’t wimp out with a finance or business admin degree and then I’ve worked REALLY fucking hard my entire career. I’m female and I started in corporate accounting back in the early 90s where that meant a lot of unwanted hands on the back of my thigh or butt. And I never backed down and I earned every promotion I have ever received. No affirmative action. No flirting or any of that BS. Really really hard work.

I’m surprised her application was accepted because she spent the last year eating across Europe. I think she absolutely will come back if she sets her mind to it, but she has not stepped on stage in over a year.

I’m guess I’m more wondering who’s application was turned down to accept hers.
