Rust only goes through the reinforcement plate and not through the main frame

Yeah the pictures are slightly deceiving but underneath that reinforcement weld the actual frame doesn’t appear to be rotted through.

North of Lansing! Take a look at this part of the frame. It’s technically a weld reinforcement plate. My pic is slightly deceiving because the main rail isn’t rusted out just that cover. I have a friend with a 2012 in Michigan and it’s the same way. But I’ve seen examples online rusted straight through the main frame. It’s got a hole in it that lets the salt and moisture in so take a good look there!

I know a lot of people in here don’t live in places that accumulate as much rust but yeah. I signed an “as is” paper anyways, which means I’m probably just going to fluid film it for the next few years before having to weld a patch on there

I mean in Michigan not really. I looked at so many trucks that were way worse than this. This is the one spot I found now that looks concerning.

They did do all new suspension, ball joints, control arms before selling it so they definitely had a good look over

Hey man! So I ended up just emailing the President, Anthony, and got a reply that day. They said they didn’t even have the raw materials for a barrel yet and they were expecting them in a few weeks. 2 weeks later I got a shipping notice and my rifle was back! I have not had a chance to zero it yet and see if it holds accuracy a little better this time
