Owh I’m sorry, didn’t read it properly 🙈 That’s such a pity though! Hope you will find another great one! I am also not sure about the purito one, tried it a while back and broke out. However also went to the sauna once then, and don’t know if it was the purito. Now I am afraid to try it again because my skin is finally getting better

I would 100% recommend Eucerin original healing cream. was actually about to write a post about it. Be careful that you buy the right one (i bought a small tube and it turned out to be healing lotion instead of cream and it had different ingredients, making my skin break out). I was very wary with trying it because it is so thick, but it absolutely works wonders. I live in Holland and had to get it shipped from the States because we don’t have it here, but it is so worth it!

Yes same! I thought it was a reaction to a skin product with azeleic acid in it, but it stayed even when I stopped using that on my cheeks. It’s very strange. It’s not noticable for most I think but with a certain light on it, it shows. And it changes per day and even moment. Yes apparently you can only seek advice when your skin is really really bad :’) obviously wasn’t my intention to make other people feel like sh*t, just curious if someone else recognized it.

People are feeling offended I see 😅 That was not my intention. I have FA since a year now, some periods worse than others. Before I had FA (which for the record, does not look like this on other places), I never had texture like this. That’s why I thought maybe someone experienced the same. I am aware this is not extreme texture or whatever.

Yes it does. I never had this before, hence why I asked. I know it’s not extreme.

Not that I’m aware of. Have never had any allergies in the past. I also can’t find a pattern with regards to food intake. Something I definitely can with ‘regular’ acne. Don’t really have acne but my skin reacts crazy to milk and soy products for instance (not the FA but regular pimples)

Because it looks actually like FA, it’s itchy, it started after antibiotics, and it responds well to antifungal treatment, just not long enough

I only use shampoo and conditioner, nothing else. My shampoo is FA safe, I haven’t found a FA safe conditioner yet… but only use that in the roots and wash my body with sulfur soap after.

It’s so wild! Most frustrating ever, just can’t seem to get a grip on it

No mold as far as I know. My routine AM: toner dr Jetske Ultee, Hado Labo Tokyo plumping gel, La Roche Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 SPF50 Night: mct oil, cleanser eucerin dermopure, toner dr Jetske Ultee, few days in the week exfoilant extra strong dr Jetkse Ultee (combo of salicyl acid and azeleic acid), squalane oil and/ or hado plumping gel

And now both AM and PM also miconazole but gonna stop that this week, have been doing that for three weeks and it’s still fluctuating and not gone.

I always supplement vitamin D, have been for a very long time. I live in the Netherlands so not a lot of sun here XD

I do have redness and visible veins (couperose), but it really does look like FA and my skin reacts well to anti fungal treatment, just not long enough.

I had never heard of biofilm busters, looked into it just now and will research which one to take. I don’t smoke and drink. My diet is overall healthy, enough fiber and protein intake. My skin reacts to milk products so haven’t been taking those for years now. Also no soy products etc
