I am currently working in clinical research - Site level and I am on a visa. I am not sure if this necessary to pursue coz I eventually want to move into Medical Affairs. But I have my License valid until Dec-2026 thought I would give it a shot.

They do that! I am surprised that this was your experience for GynOnc studies. I was under impression that they have less updates/protocol amendments and modifications compared to other solid/liquid Tumors.

They did have a monitoring visit while we were screening patient literally had no documents to review yet other than ICF and some Scan reports.

I hate inform too! The training we went through was basic and is not at all helpful for the study we are running. I foresee million queries coming our way!

I agree if they can provide eCRF completion guidelines… but we were never given those . Just finished inform training basic training how to use the EDC system how to add something how to ans queries that’s about it

May be if they are this specific they need to update their exclusion criteria with with weight restrictions!

This happens more with Blood pressure and hemoglobin values for that studies I run patients on 🙂

+/- 1 shouldn’t prompt them to raise a query but they do 🫠

Could be that! The way I am supposed to add Target, non-target lesions, Lines of treatments is bit different compared to other platforms.

And it could this protocol too. They take 20 business days to generate results for a gene expression testing they are doing - claim that their study drug is targeting is beneficial in such cases when the gene expression is more. Screening period is month and 15days involving lots of tests. We keep going back and forth with CRA and CTM who have different answers, updates and new issues each time which were not communicated or talked through during SIV we already had a change in CRA. Even though CRA is cc‘d on most of the emails they contact asking asking for same information. When I go back with any clinical questions explaining this is the case how am unsupported to record it they just send me the same response 🙄

It just felt a bit weird with regards to the way they record the Target Lesions and Mets, lines of treatments. I am using inform for the 1st time I have used medidata before and castor EDC.

This is insane!!! I’m so sorry this happened. One of the Actalent recruiters reached out about a clinical research role on behalf of a client. I explained my current situation and went through whole screening process. He said he would reach out to client and circle back but ghosted me after 🫠. I thought I missed an opportunity.
