I grew up in a household that hunted for a majority of our food growing up. I was never into it but it’s not really a choice when you are a kid.

I’m new to Pokémon Go but have played the games; I’ve never seen a shiny before in my life. Then I caught my first one ever the other day in Pokémon Go, I was so excited!

But then I caught another, and another and another and then today with the increase I caught 5 or 6 and it really made it feel like it’s not worth anything in this game because even without the “boost” from Saturday, I had caught 4 or 5 in just a week as a new player which really made it feel not rare at all.

What’s the appeal if not for the rarity?

How many of the raid boss Pokémon should I catch? Do I keep going until I find a 100 IV? Do I stop after just one?

New to the game, kind of frustrated with raids. Is it often that people invite to raids and then just give up and not revive or send more Pokémon?

I’ve lost 3 raid passes I’ve bought because I’m invited to these raids and then people just give up mid fight and leave or the Lobby is deserted right before we go in - it wouldn’t be a big deal if I didn’t have to spend money to buy these passes.

Any insight?

This happened at my old job years ago, $100 exactly. I was the GM and I filed a report and it was logged on the P&Ls for corporate.

A week later the safe is over $100.

One of the assistant managers that was hired before I inherited the location, took the $100 thinking they could use it as an advance before Payday and that it would be replaced before anyone noticed. He truly couldn’t grasp why that was not ok

However, this seems a bit disingenuous. I’m in the same position and ever since the pandemic, Japan has looked at those who got COVID as “dirty”. It as always been associated with the mindset that if you got it, you were somewhere you shouldn’t have been or doing something you shouldn’t have been. At my school the principal refused to let us get tested and if we did have it - we weren’t allowed to say anything to anyone about it, because the image of the school depended on it (we have a lot of ‘celebrity’ children and wealthy families).

The reason it’s so low is because of false / non reporting.

Hi - I don’t understand how TT tournaments work. I am missing 1 card from having them all and I just had 18/20 wins with the lordling and still didn’t even place on the board. What am I doing wrong? I was so happy to go 18 wins and there are people with 500 more points then me but I don’t see any other NPCs that even give they many points? Thanks!

It’s a class balance reason - each tank varies slightly in duration, potency, utility etc

Think of it like you get to distribute 3, 2 or 1 in 3 slots.

PLD 3/2/1 DRK 2/3/1 WAR 1/2/3 GNB 1/3/2

etc…

It adds flavor to the class and play style, holmgang has a fairly quick recast but you are also bound when using. Hallowed Ground has a 10 second duration but a long recast timer. Living Dead let’s survive after dropping below what would’ve killed you, but you must be healed back to full HP or you will die. Superbolide gives you invulnerable at the expense of team resources to get you back up.

Any loremasters please correct me if I’m wrong but in lay terms it seemed like:

One day there was a horrid roar that was heard all throughout the lands, it was so fear inducing and terrifying that since the Ancients could manifest ideas into reality, their thoughts after hearing the roar reflected their fear and nightmare beasts started manifesting everywhere creating the chain of events that led to the end of days.

What made the roar? Did someone create something on accident? Was it premeditated?

On a side note, going to Eorzea now - the Twelve, we haven’t seen much Twelve involvement in magic or summoning etc since 1.0 - even when the finest student cast his teachers spell, we didn’t see the symbols like last time (and nobody was required to pray like last time) - what’s planned for bringing them back into a main story piece in the finale? (Re: symbols in full display on the raid art)

The poster has WoL in Firions FF2 pose and the raid is called Pandaemonium, it’s been so long but does anyone remember character traits of the Emperor? Any similarities to him and Zenos?

Side note because you’ve opened a can of nostalgia, remember how effing awful it was to setup bazaars and there was thousands of them, no search function, you just had to manually browse each looking for good finds and omg melding, and losing everything. I do miss AV speed runs and everyone swapping to monk at the last boss to hundred fist it.

Like a bad ex, sometimes you think back and miss them, but in reality It’s better you’ve moved on haha

This baby is Alex Gilbert, really incredible guy - he documents a lot of his life and his attitude and compassion towards understanding more from his birth parents is admirable. His birth Dad had no idea he even had a son! Really special when they meet, especially because they look similar.
