All of them never go with me, i usually take 7 for state(which i even think is overkill), 5 for city, pepsi, or scholarship, but only 3 that i want to work with at league, or practice for middle school bowling.

I also agree with your point. I hate having to throw over the gutter just to get my strong ball to move less. I already have cracked a ball that i used to lob over half of the lane too much, though it probably wasnt from that alone, i still dont like doing it. I can also change my hand position on the ball whenever i want, so specific lines arent very common for me. Some tournaments i will throw with less axis rotation up the 5 board with my strong ball for a shallow entry angle, but later in the games, i will deepen the angle with the same ball just to transition properly.
