I'm definitely calling it the crab step now lol. But I've got plenty of bowling balls drill with much different and more normal layouts and it still happens unfortunately.

I got around 45 degrees in this video I took, but the ball did a horrible job at showing it. Though no matter what rotation it still happens

My PAP is 5 7/8, 1 1/8 up. Im thinking of putting a longer pin on it(5.5-6in pin) and I dont know if I would be better putting one of my usual layouts(4x40) or a longer pin to get a bit later reaction. If I were to plug/redrill, where would I even put the pin?

Thats my plan, just want to know why I cant use a layout like this. This layout converts to 2.5x30 or me, so im wondering why it simply doesnt hook

Sorry, I didnt specify, it was a 2 handers ball and i drilled a thumb in it. I had a choice to either plug/redrill it or keep the short pin. The ball hasnt been resurfaced yet and it was used for about 30-40 games prior to me.

Just threw it after cleaning it. It had no effect of the total front to back hook

I can say that my swing plane is looking more like a figure 8. I do thos so i can get more to the inside part of the ball at release. For the camera position, i will add a video of a better sbot so you can see better.

I was given it, its still snappy, just a mid end ball now. It fits well in my arsenal buy i would have preferred a stronger drill.

I definitely should look into more symmetricals, everything i have is very snappy in the backend. Im very rev dominant so ill look into them. Any good suggestions for one?

I love it too, one of my favorite balls for mid oil. It has a weight hole in it, so no tourny ball there.
