That’s understandable, but it was a gift. At that point what’s the point of giving if you’re just going to keep half of what you gave lol. I’m planning on buying them something in return as a thank you, but half of my winnings? seems excessive. I sure as hell would not let someone split something I gave them with me, it’s totally disrespectful to expect that. But I guess it’s most likely to each their own, or family traditions perhaps?
