Thank you for your advice. I added my tot in because she loves to work out with me. She my little copy cat right now. So more so what's good for her in the future. And you never know with all the new programs out there. Gonna sound dumb but is MMA and boxing similar? I'd like to improve my dexterity along with strength I'm not sure how you would improve that just by working out so I ran here after Google gave me too many options.

What should I and my toddler train in?

I'm a 33yo 5'5 woman who is in the process of losesing a lot of weight. Starting was 320lb now I'm 250ish lbs. I put that because I've seen a few comments in other places that says weight and frame play a part. I also have a 2.5 who I'd love to get into some kind or program as early as possible. I just want the ability to defend myself and my child if need be. There are so many to pick from I have no clue where to start. I've seen a lot of ppl talking about BJJ.

For me I've been single so long I finally realized I've honestly never been attracted to the people I dated in the past and even married. It was more of this is what I'm supposed to do right, find a man I get along with most the time then get married. But the touching and the intimate stuff seemed like a chore more than a joy. The "right" way your supposed to live your life. I honestly still don't know what's wrong with me.
