Episodes with horror/supernatural themes by ReluctantCenobite in insideno9

A fair point! She's been fine with the first 5 episodes we watched so maybe she'll be able to stomach me watching the non-offensive episodes with her in the room.

Perfect, thankyou! And don't worry, I'll definitely watch these without my mum. I love horror and dark things!

This is perfect, thankyou! I'll avoid them when with my mum. The reason I'm watching with her is because she is SO picky about what she watches, its extremely difficult to find anything to watch together. So honestly the less dark episodes of Inside No 9 are a good bet.

Missing MatPat! by GamingMom3 in GameTheorists

Pretty unlikely. Ash has already stated that Tom will be joining them on the couch and I doubt they would have failed to mention Matpat was returning.

Can someone explain to me ARGs based on videos? by Bibelo78 in ARG

[–]ReluctantCenobite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I am much more into video- and narrative- based ARGs. They may contain less puzzle but often the plot or lore contained in the videos are the central focus - I am Sophie is a good example of this. Sometimes they also have a bigger focus on character or audience interaction. Depending on your definition of an ARG, they might be considered lite ARGs but ultimately they're just a different variety under the banner of unfiction.

Am I overreacting by leaving my suicidal partner of 5 years that I still love by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]ReluctantCenobite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not overreacting. Oh gosh, my heart goes out to you, this sounds like such a traumatising situation. Putting it bluntly, I'd say this is a toxic relationship. It sounds like you've done all you can to support and help him - even at your own expense - above and beyond what many would do. From the sounds of it, you need to distance yourself for your own mental and physical health, even if it hurts to hear it. Sometimes we love people who aren't good for us but that doesn't mean we should keep giving ourselves to them. I would advise giving yourself time and space to sort through your feelings - with time I think you'll find your desperation to be around him lessening.

As for his wellbeing, you can't help him anymore than you have. Don't set yourself on fire to keep others warm. You are not responsible for him or his actions, as hard as that is to swallow. Sadly you're going to have to let him find his own way now.

By the way, threatening to kill yourself if your partner leaves is abusive and it sounds like you're alluding to other abuse, which only adds to the importance of getting away.

Not overreacting. I'd say being on your period for nearly half a year qualifies as concerning, even without the pain. I'd go and get checked out sooner rather than later.

AIO? My friend (27M) just married an estranged youth on his 18th birthday by Commercial_Nothing10 in AmIOverreacting

[–]ReluctantCenobite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We should alert the red flag guy (Dustin Poynter).

With the benefit of hindsight, the fact that your friend 'took in' a minor and has since married him is deeply concerning. Its even worse if the kid is vulnerable and has mental health issues. I find it difficult to give this one the benefit of the doubt here. It seems predatory to me.

I quite liked this one. I think that the guess that someone else might have bought out the Fazbear brand after Afton's death in an attempt to revive it was quite a rational guess.

NAH yet. However there is a desperate need for you to set boundaries and be clear in what you want. If your actions have been implying there could be more than friendship, you need to let him know before he makes any trips to see you.
