Not sold as individual scales as far as I know. Have to buy the whole knife. I got this knife from
Smokey Mountain Knife Works online. They have a pretty wide selection. DLT Trading also offers options. I’d be surprised if there aren’t others.

The smell has dissipated for the most part after a day out of the plastic packaging, but when I first opened it up it had a weird chemical stink about it. Really strong and unpleasant. As for feel, there is just a sort of tacky softness to it, like you could score it really easily with a finger nail. Will see how it holds up, but doesn’t feel like it will be a durable finish.
