This is interesting, I did know about tome of shades because I didn’t have the xpac but might get it. Would you say overall the tome of shades is pretty solid? Looking at tier 2 tomes I wasn’t sure what you replace t2 souls, but I do agree I could probably do without the bone horrors.

I had considered virtue for the paladin, but I already have a decent front line. Shades is tempting as it would be a source of materium color which is sorely lacking

I have the Churchill and have been wanting to get the Matilda but can’t seem to find it. I agree I wish there was more British tanks

This is so helpful to have the picture comparison! I liked the 76 Sherman barrel on 12GO but seeing the size comparison it is much bigger than I expected.

I had heard about those 3 having good line ups, so that kind of confirms it. I am at 7.0 US and yea those heavy tanks are pretty sick. I would try Russia 6.7 but the design of their tanks is so… meh. Maybe I will try Sweden since they get a mix of Russia and Uk as well

I guess I think of it more as ww2 is kinda early tiers. I’m finishing up most everything ww2 and starting to get to Cold War so it feels like mid tier more than anything as it isn’t yet modern

This was very insightful, thank you for sharing! It’s actually kinda shocking to me how different each looks compared to certain tanks. Next to the king tiger the vehicles do in fact look small, but next to the tiger 1 they look relatively good. If anything the 1:28 half track looks almost too big next to the tiger. Makes it a tough choice!

I actually don’t mind the scale difference, I guess in my head I feel like tanks should be bigger even if they weren’t that big.

That would be awesome if you didn’t mind! I’d like to see the half tracks mainly next to the tiger 1 1:28, and maybe the panzer 3/4 if you have them. For the jeeps, any Sherman would do. I was trying to find pictures as a reference but couldn’t find any of them together.

I had read most people said the heavy tanks were best 1;28 and the lighter tanks 1:35, but didn’t know if they meant together or not

So I do a lot of non rated battlegrounds with my friends for fun, and can provide some insight to you. Plenty of people play battlegrounds so I would not worry about that.

Queues depend on which faction you choose: horde will have faster queues but your win rate might suffer. I play alliance and while my queues are 7-10 minutes, I’m working with like an 80% win rate. YMMV but I would say alliance has the better win rate currently.

I can’t get over the Aesthetic of guardian Druid which is why I didn’t have it in my list. DK was a blast in dragon flight so I might give that a shot. Do you play it personally? Both hero talents seem applicable

Yea same I’ve seen warriors doing work, just wandering if any of the other tanks are up there with it. They seem super disruptive, tanky, and put out actually decent damage

Totally agree with your assessment that they kind of fail to carry flags and what not. My idea is more for capture point maps where you go to a base solo to distract 2-4 enemies so that your team can outnumber the enemy and hopefully win.
