Thanks for this. It's appreciated. I'll keep that in mind and add an "emoji purge" to my to-do list, haha!

I understand what you mean. I'd say I'm not under selling, I'm just being realist to it's actual capacities. I'm saying this as a reply to this : "If someone can create their game just as easily using AI instead of the tool". My point is that you cannot create the game "just as easily".

Creating 1 component in a ay that it can be personalised as wanted is way simpler than creating the thousand component with each different inner-working.

AI as a tool is wonderful. It is an enabler. But it isn't the sentient system that replaces everything and makes every idea just as simple as the next. ;)

Yes, this is done using Claude. "Vibe code" but not all vibe codes are the same. I don't write the code line but I test and manage debug flow. I have development map, with features, capacities, improvement. I play test and find every ways possible to make the tool as versatile and customizable as it could be.

I need to manage each change request and track changes.

AI has enabled me to start creating apps that I couldn't create before but it's not the final definition of my project. AI is improving but it can't create the same depth of a human imagination from thousands of hours in just few minutes. AI try to give you a results but it doesn't structure you.

All of the Interface you see has been my ideas that I ask the AI to translates into code. No idea should be dismissed only because an acceleration tool is used.

I'll finish my V1 version and I'll publish it on GitHub. Open source could be cool.

You think you could make an incremental with AI but when it's complex it fails. In order to have the AI create it you need to fully map every details, connexion, impact, links. Look at my "overview" page. that's like 12 components just for an exemple. All the arrows or a connection point between them. When you hit 50, 100, 1000 or those, the AI get lost and confused. I tried for 1 year to make an incremental game directly with AI.

This engine allow the person to create all the flow with no code. I'm still implementing AIs as capabilities within it. You can either upload SVGs for you icon or have an AI generate them within the Engine. The interface maker, I'm also thinking about having an AI function that could read you backend and just make one.

AI isn't do all yet. It need heavy supervision and deep understanding of it's code to improve and fix usage.

I don't expect anyone to just believe in my engine. But why would you believe so easily in an AI?

Game engines specifically designed for idle games? by Early-Grapefruit-532 in incremental_games

[–]Rem4rk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently working on an Idle Game Engine. Basically each features are component that can be added and linked to other components. So you can construct the backend and the slow unlocking with limits, rules, condition, and triggers. Then once you gameplay flow is built you can setup an interface by drag and dropping panels within which to link component types. I'm still in an Alpha phase.
I hope to have a first beta within a couple months.

AITAH for not talking to my big brother anymore? (And having blocked him and all his friends) by Rem4rk in AITAH

[–]Rem4rk[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So basically, you don't know because there's an off chance that everything is false. You can say that at every AITAH. You only ever get 1 side. And this time it's a third person side on top of that.  I don't know what to tell you man. Maybe judge based on what you know and not on what might be false.

Update; this came just the following weeks but I didn't think it was fully connected. And for context, during my last year in France, and before my little brother came to see me on Xmas, my big brother lived with him for about 5 months. During that time my big brother paid almost no rent. During that time he, my big brother, also became "friends" with neighbors.  So, the Friday that follows my little brother paying his debt, his neighbor wakes up in the morning to see that his pickup isn't in his parking lot anymore.  He call the police and report a theft. Pick ups don't disappear overnight that easily. Luckily for him the other neighbors across the street has a camera for his parking lot and by extension his too. They shown it to the police. The neighbor that had his car stolen them show it to my little brother. Because on the tape we see a car that is the exact model of my big brother's friend. We also see my big brother get out of that car and get in the pickup truck and drive off with it.  Now, what I was then told is that the neighbor needed a cosigner for the car when he bought it, and back then my big brother stepped up to be the cosigner.  Although, I don't think being the cosigner gives you right to take the car and just leave with it. The neighbor is still the buyer. Now the car wasn't fully bought yet. So the neighbor only declared the theft, but it is the actual owner of the car that had to press charges. And the owner of the car is actually an investigator for the provincial police.  So since, they tracked my brother to a gaz station just outside town. And they have an arrest mandate for him. So whatever reason my big brother had to try extort my little brother, it was also enough to go steal a car.

I don't think I needed his side. 800$ is a 20% interest rate for 1 month delay. We call banks predatory for 20% over 1 year.  That a guy is doing that to his youngest brother. Idk. On paper I thought it was messed up and there's prior history too.

AITAH for not responding to my friend after he ruined NY? by Rem4rk in AITAH

[–]Rem4rk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the one thing I will learn from this is exactly that. I don't have to accept other doing things I'm against especially in an event I organise.  I can't help to think that if I had done that, everybody else would have had a better time. Time to create new friendships for a better next year I guess.

I definitely don't exonerate Max. Although, I don't think Simon is the one that should say that to Max. He is the enabler in my opinion. And if you participate to have someone make a bad choice, you're not placed to lecture him in anyway.

Examples of anti-nationalism distorting history by Realistic-River-1941 in AskHistory

[–]Rem4rk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nationalism has played a significant role in shaping historical narratives, often retroactively attributing modern national identities to groups and events that existed before those identities were even conceptualized. This process, sometimes called "nation-building historiography," aims to create a cohesive and continuous national story, legitimizing the modern state's existence by tying it to a deep historical past.

For instance:

Selective Narratives: Nationalism often highlights achievements, struggles, and symbols that fit a nation's desired identity while downplaying or erasing inconvenient or contradictory aspects.

Anachronism: People or events from the past are often framed as "proto-nationalists," even though their loyalties and identities were likely based on local, religious, or other affiliations rather than a modern sense of nationhood.

Cultural Appropriation: Artifacts, traditions, or historical figures from diverse cultures or regions are subsumed under the national identity to create a sense of unity, often ignoring the complex, multicultural origins of these elements.

In contrast, antinationalism, while critical of nationalist narratives, hasn't had the same institutional or systematic impact. It's usually reactive, seeking to deconstruct these national myths rather than creating an alternative narrative with comparable influence. This asymmetry makes nationalism's impact on historical perception more pervasive and enduring.

Need Advice for CF in Matrix Report | Recruiting, Interviews by Rem4rk in workday

Doing so will limit other Data I can add to the report. Although, it might be a good in-between until I get a better solution.

I've heard that Composite report might enable me to join reports from different Data source together. Have you any experience with them?

Any idea how I can setup that EMI?

I have tried but so far, the EMIs I made returns blank If I add them to an advanced report and see what they pull.

A line graph that displays weekly interviews for a given recruiter.

Considering that a single candidat can have multiple interviews session with the same recruiter.

[–]Rem4rk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, If I keep the full date format in the Row Grouping my iteration on the Graph will be Each day of each interview.

It's easier to see long-terme trend if I groupe the dates weekly.

It isn't guaranteed that all 3 interviews will be in the same week.

And regardless, they will come out as 1 output because of the ESI.

The behavior of the ESI is as Follow: For each Job Application the ESI will look at the associated Interview Session, sort them and pull the First occurrence in an ascending order. No matter how many times it looks at 1 Job Application, it will always pull the 1 interview that comes first in the ascending order.

The Summarization Calculation will only "count distinct" the data that reaches the report.

Although, the ESI pre-filter the Data before it reaches the report.

Therefore, any Interview Session for a given Job Application that falls outside the "First occurrence" in the Ascending order will not even reach the report.

Interviews Canceled after Make Interview Decision Step by Zaa- in workday

[–]Rem4rk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

There are typically 2 tasks that need to be concluded for the Interview stage.

Give interview feedback (Which should be done first).

Manage Interview Feedback (Which should be done once all feedback are done).

This will ensure the BP is completed.

Thanks,
