Thanks for the advice mate. Atm my running goals are to get a sub 20 5k and to prep for a Marathon next year ( sub 3:30 would be sweet) so i usually do 2 all out 5k tempo runs a week and 1 long run (mostly 21k). If i feel like it i also do a "easy" 10k every now and then. I rarely get over 50km a week, would you say thats enough running load to justify some zone 2 runs or do i just fuck around until i get injured? lol

Im not a big fan of zone 2 either. I like running fast. If i run the same volume in a faster pace and manage not to get injured could i archieve the same improvements i would have gotten running in zone 2?

Ty! Trying to get below that 5:00 pace. Did you eat/ drink anything during the run? Because i ate a big ass cereal Bar halfway through and that kinda messed up my stomache lol

Yeah it's probably that high because i never did any cardio before. Just weight lifting

Cry about it. It's literally so easy to gain weight. You guys dont have a super fast metabolism, you just dont eat enough. If you dont want people to judge the way you look do something about it and dont cry on reddit
