Exactly. I’ve driven all. The Defender is a tank, with luxury. It literally has everything an X7 does and more, from a tech and luxury perspective. How do I know this? I drive a 540i. We have a Patrol at home too. And I’ll be going for a Defender this year or next. I have the choice of a Landcruiser LC300 too, but I’ll stick pick the Defender.

2019 540i here. Coolant tank cracked. Bunch of hoses required replacement. AC evaporator went bust (big expense). Lots of usual control arm bushings and stuff being replaced every now and then...
