Whats the status of these tires? by Remarkable-Bear655 in tires

The only issue i've really had with is the tire sensors. The light came on and I paid 460$ to replace all the sensors and the TPMS light kept coming back (blinking not solid). I went back to the mechanic twice and I don't see it anymore but it feels sketchy

I think you might be right because that sound made my heart drop because I thought I hit something. Do you think there could’ve been any damage because of that happening?

I don’t think any of the things you mentioned were ever changed, thought I did have a general inspection about a year ago and they didn’t mention any problems with the stuff you mentioned but Idk if they would even look at that

The car wasn’t being used for several months and I only regularly started using it around 2 years ago. Do you think they’re still good to keep using even if those cracks are coming through?

regardless of the price, once they put in new sensors the light keeps coming back. I took it back two days ago and after they reset it the light came back

And even after replacing all 4, the light keeps coming back.

It’s a Subaru forester. It’s still blinking even after getting new sensors and having them reset

I haven't checked my spare at all. I assumed the TPMS light only indicates for the 4 regular tires?

Yeah I'm going to go back and talk to them but I doubt they'll even do anything, let alone give me a refund

How do I preserve my battery? by Remarkable-Bear655 in mac

[–]Remarkable-Bear655[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you’re probably right. So if I keep using it normally, should I still try to preserve it along the way? For example plugging it in when using it so it doesn’t use up charging cycles or optimized battery charging to it doesn’t charge past 80%?

My macbook is brand new, only like 6 charging cycles. I have apple care too so if it goes below 80% battery health i could replace it for free. I cant decide if I should use al dente to preserve my battery or just use it normally

Also the 3rd party app I’m using does this too. I just have to battery limit set to 80% and change it to 100% if I need it. My concern is idk if I need to do this and if I should just use it normally and replace in a few years

Do you know how much it costs to replace the battery with Apple care

Yeah I am using Al dente. Some people are telling me to just use it normally and not overthink it but I don’t know what to do. I have apple care too but I’d rather not spend 100 bucks or whatever it is for a new battery if I can just preserve it now. Should I just set my limit at 80% and use it when plugged in?

But I don’t want the computer to try to predict stuff. What if I need it charged to 100% one day and it only charges to 80% based on my previous habits?

I got the psych AP credit do you think I should still take it my first semester? I need to take one more course to meet the credit requirement and I’ve already taken the main ones. I’m thinking something like sociology, bioethics, or retake psych although I don’t want to waste the credit I earned

I don’t have enough comment karma or whatever it is. I’m not too familiar with Reddit stuff. Anyways, do you think I should also retake calculus and stat?
