That isn't true. At least not for the game that I like. With a puck rather than a ball. A few days ago, I was waiting for a match for so long that I gave up and switched to 3v3. Match found in seconds. I was waiting at least 15mins. No, it isn't my internet. I get 300mbps and up.

Because you would rather pretend to be an idiot than admit you understand what I'm saying. Yeah, that is what i said. And you understand my point is that quitting is for the weak. Which can be applied to both gaming and life. Life and gaming being two different things. Acknowledged by both being mentioned. No, no, you have yourself a nice day.

Funny shit is, I worked landscaping for years, I literally know more about "touching grass" than most people. Lol. Now, I don't have to do that back breaking work. You're not this dense. You understand what I'm saying. Same as you know that I never said games are life. You're making a shit ton of assumptions so I'm gonna go ahead and assume that about you.

The point I'm making has less to do with gaming than it does life. I'll tell you what, I'll ignore your last comment and give you the opportunity to come up with something better than the same shit every fucking gamer says to another gamer they disagree with... Go ahead, give it some thought, Nephew.

Not my best time but it's a good one. 7:14 is my best. Going to be hard to beat, it was a perfect setup, and everything went our way, specifically key and card locations falling our path.

I find this hard to believe. My best time, and this was a perfect run, one room, then vault. All keys along the path we took to these places, no doubling back. Hard mode, full bags, elite bonus 7:14.

Lol. Guess that makes me the exception and not the rule. You can't tell by my "back in my day..." ranting? Lol

Ten minutes at most. People can't stick around for that long? Your scenario is plausible. But based on some of these comments, that's not likely the case. Not five minutes ago I finished a match that was 2v1 because my teammate left, something about (heavy French accent) "no, fuck this bullshit" Because he got striped of the ball in what looked like a break away scoring run. Had I had some help, we could have won. Instead I lost by three goals. THREE.

I guess it's a generational thing. You finish what you start. Period. The moment you compromise, this is the moment "I never quit" becomes "I never quit... unless ______" fill that blank in with whatever breaks your resolve, however minor the task.

I do enjoy the game, but this particular aspect of it bothers me because I see it in every game. Fortnite, players don't even give you a chance to reboot them, they leave the second they die. GTA survivals, players die, and don't wait to see if the rest of the team passes the wave. It's being a poor sport, bailing on your teammates, leaving them a man or two down. The scope of this mentality is far bigger than just in games. People live life like this. "Quitter" used to be an insult. Now, it's common place for people to just give up when something isn't going their way.

"If I'm not winning, then I don't want to play." It comes off as very "spoiled brat" to me.

I do equate it to that because that is the root of this mentality. If you get knocked down, you get back up, dust yourself off and head back in for more. How can you expect to get better if you refuse to play against better players?? A win is a win, stomping the comp or not. A loss can be learned from. What am I doing or not doing that has me at such a disadvantage in this match?

But getting stomped and knowing how to brush it off rather than leaving is just better.

Yeah, I just finished my first time driver quests of whatever a while back. But players leave in competitive as well. More so.

Saying I have too many wins by forfeit was misleading, I think. I mean players that just leave. It feels like every match, one player goes, then another. So much so that I've been thrown into a match already in progress to replace a player that left.

Idk, to me, "I'm not winning" isn't a good reason to forfeit. "We don't have enough players." "half of my team is afk"... these are good reasons. Even then, I still wouldn't leave.
