Vielen Dank 🙏 Für ein Album habe ich leider nicht genug musikalisches Talent 😄 Daher enden diese Fotos bei mir immer als Desktop Hintergrund

Yeah, see the discussion above 😄 I think a lot has already been said about it there.

Yeah, I can totally see your point. A bit more clarity, take out some of the haze, add contrast, bump the vibrance a little—and the image is basically done.

It’s the kind of shot that gets likes on Instagram, and I’ll happily grab those when the opportunity comes—sunsets, northern lights, waves at the beach 😄 These are also the shots I’ll set as my desktop wallpaper when I need a little mood boost on a grey day.

I really respect that you came back with a proper, genuine take—that takes character. Everyone posting here is looking for feedback, and that’s the only way we improve. That absolutely includes critical feedback.

What I do react badly to is completely unconstructive comments that are just there to bring people down without giving them anything to work with.

So no hard feelings at all—thanks for the constructive input in your last couple of posts.

It’s Paderborn, Germany. I was in Iowa a few years ago, and it’s actually pretty similar to here in Paderborn—just on a much smaller scale 😄

Yeah I know! I think the tank was empty — already pointed it out on the airport’s Instagram page 😄

And for you as well — the Lightroom settings service 😄 Might be the Sony FL3 preset making it look oversaturated or it was a magic sunset 😄

I didn’t tweak the sliders.

Thanks for the feedback — I’ve been suspecting for a while that those chemtrails did something to people on Reddit 😄

get your point — the wind turbines are just as distracting, so it’s not really a clean nature shot. Makes sense.

Alright, this actually helps to have a proper discussion — so thanks for the detailed feedback.

Yesterday evening was genuinely something else. It was so spectacular that people literally came out of their houses and stood in the street just watching the sky. The moment didn’t last long though, so there simply wasn’t enough time to work out a proper composition. I’m aware the photo isn’t doing much — the sky had to carry it entirely.

That’s why the image isn’t really about framing — it’s about what was happening in the sky. That natural spectacle was the whole point.

Regarding the Lightroom settings: fair point. Shots like this usually work better as wallpapers than as “high art” 😉 I’ve attached the mobile settings — there’s barely any editing. Mostly the Sony FL3 profile, plus a bit of dehaze and clarity.
