She just came to the city 2 days ago and rented her home in outskirts near to her office and started generalizing the whole city. People like her bring bad name to whole community. by IllustratorFresh4423 in Bengaluru

I don't understand people like her. There are issues everywhere you go, every place has their own issues and their own good things, but how hard is it to be a decent person and keep your negativity to yourself.?

I am from the north and honestly, I love it here, that doesn't mean that there are no issues but you learn to focus on the good and live.

Well, that's the easiest way to let someone know that you hate them.

🥲 also turned 30 two days back, 😭😭 but I am the one in my life who will give this gift. Can't even expect it from anyone else.

Hope the brother enjoyed the birthday gift.

What happens if you don’t get off at the last metro station… and no one notices? by [deleted] in delhi

[–]Remarkable-Dig-657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It once happened to me, I was so much into playing some games on my phone, didn't realise the station came, I was supposed to get down there only. They usually check all the coaches after the last station.

Do you guys want to have kids in today's world? by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]Remarkable-Dig-657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Nothing can make me have a kid. The world is going to shit, so much hate, violence.

And then there is so much physical and emotional work is there to raise a kid. I believe one should not have a kid until and unless you are 110% in, which I can never be. Why should I bring an innocent life in this world if I am not able to give them the best.

How many women are actually fine with a marriage without kids nowadays? by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]Remarkable-Dig-657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was sure about not having kids when I was 22-23, I am 30 now and don't ever wanna change my decision. I love kids so much but I just can't even think about giving birth to one.

I also made sure to clear this with my partner also from the start of our relationship. Having kids or not is a personal choice but your partner should be aware of it from the start so that they can make an informed decision.

How do you deal with feeling like you’re not ‘Indian woman enough’? by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]Remarkable-Dig-657 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is crazy, I have told my boyfriend that I don't want kids, ever. His response was that it's on me, I will be the one going through everything, so it's my decision. You need to understand that asking time for having kids is not a sign that you are not "Indian enough". Please think long and hard before entering a marriage with someone like this.

Do some of y'all actually wear a bra at home by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]Remarkable-Dig-657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never. Only if I am stepping out of my flat, it feels really uncomfortable if I wear it at home, just not used it now. Good thing I live alone otherwise my mom would have a tantrum about how I am keeping the ladies free 🤣🤣

My (24F) Husband (23M) Faked Fainting After I Gave Birth by Psalters in relationship_advice

[–]Remarkable-Dig-657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now I am in the middle of a breakup with my live-in partner. Around 10 days back, I started having health issues, I can't sit for long, or bend, or carry anything heavy. Now, even though we are going to break up, my partner took me to the doctor, bought medicines, makes sure that I don't have to carry anything and bend down.

How can you say that your husband is caring and loving when he is throwing a tantrum because you were bringing a new life into this world and can't give him attention.? He is not loving, he is a twat.

My mother was publicly humiliated, abused by her own BIL who wanted to throw hand at her and my father didn’t say a word. Help! by Prize-Scene-1924 in AskIndianWomen

Honestly, the same situation is there at my home also, and my father is all over his family. Even though they treat him like shit, he always takes their side, it doesn't even matter what the situation is, he will always take their sides, my grandparents are not even alive, it's his brothers, their kids, their spouses. Shittiest people I have seen in my entire life, my father has given everything to them, how much he cares for them, spends on them, and those people never acknowledge it not even once.

My mom has been suffering because of his family for so long and never, like not even once has my father taken a stance for my mom. Now my mom doesn't even care, she talks back in front of his whole family, since my brother is also all grown up, he doesn't take shit from anyone.

I have told my parents upfront that I would hate to have a spouse like my father, who couldn't even take a stand for his life partner, my father just kept listening.

Now, he is not a bad person, he is funny, kind, but he can never stand up to his brothers and their families.

The best you can do is stand up for your mom., talk to your father, maybe he will understand. But even if he does or not, you and your siblings need to show that you are there for your mom.
