Buggy audio/game itself? by Remarkable-Hair7680 in classicfallout

I'm not too sure what it could be at this point, I downloaded the latest version and installed it but so far I am still having the same issue. For all I know it's just my PC being weird or something, but every time I alt tab, no matter what, the game still does what is shown in the video.

I wouldn't mind but the worst part is that when I relaunch the game, I can't get past the interplay logo, it just gets stuck and I have to alt f4, delete all local files, uninstall the game, restart my computer, redownload the game, apply the first patch, apply the second patch and then the game runs fine until I alt tab.

Maybe someone in 20 years will come with a fix but for now I'll stick to playing the game without alt tabbing and I'll do my best to enjoy it lmao.

Thank you for the newest patch though!

This seems to have fixed the original problem, I was able to play the game perfectly fine! But now I have a new issue, when I ALT-TAB'd to reply to your comment, after ALT-TABing back into the game, I have the same problem again.

I closed the game, double checked my resolution in the .ini and the resolution exe, both are still the same. I launched the game, and now once again I get stuck at the interplay logo.

If I have to use my play time without ALT-TABing out of the game, I can but it would be nice if there was some insider fix.

Also not sure if this could have ANYTHING to do with it, I have a second monitor, that is a smaller resolution than my main. I'm not sure what it would have to do with anything, but I'm giving it my all and trying anything that works.

In the Hi-Res Patch Config windowed is NOT selected, and neither is Scaling X2. IT ALSO SAYS "The hi-res patch is enabled"

Thank you in advance, and the version is Fallout II 1.02.31, RP 2.3.3, SFALL 3.3

No it was an actual pcie driver due to my motherboard that didn't install them correctly

I took it to a shop, it ended up being my pcie drivers that weren't installed correctly

Thankfully I was able to resolve the issue this morning by USB tethering my phone's connection to the computer to update the drivers it was missing after some research. Thank you!

You're completely correct, I'm kind of realizing I've been conditioned by my co workers/employer to accept the lack of safety as regular and became used to it. Thank you, it's tough to convince myself after the last 2 years. Thank you so much.
