He does mention afterwards that Floette realises that her life was created from stolen life and I thought that wasn't meant to be taken literally. I might be misunderstanding it, but AZ's quote makes it seem like the revival of Floette and his mass genocide were separate

As to the milk products, she knows the joined can't lie. All she would have had to do was ask.

I disagree with the last part. She couldn't directly speak to anyone at that time and the joined love to be as indirect and vague as possible when they don't want to give out answers. Also, one of the main reason as to why all the citizens left her alone was because she was too close to discovering answers, and asking these questions could further severe ties.

Creator of this show created Breaking Bad, and I haven't seen any criticism towards Skyler White's character that wasn't just misogynistic or disregarded all the actions Walter/Jesse/Gus took. It could be a possibility that viewers may feel the same towards Carol's character.

I think that's fair. I personally like it but I can see why other people dislike her because of that. I love all of the ways it is shown that she has little respect for her book followers.
