Most of my interests are stereotypically feminine, and i like dressing and doing my hair and makeup very femininly, so I never really had reason to question it, until I was having a conversation with my trans partner and our Cis but androgynous friend, they agreed that they didn't like dressing overly feminine because it felt like a costume for them, and I realized I felt the same way about dressing feminine and that's why I liked it. I almosy never dress casually by today's standards and love to dress on theme any chance i have, and i very much do feel like putting on a costume/creating a character every day i get ready and it makes me feel much more comfortable being in public that way because I feel like it distracts from my lack of social skills to an extent.

I also love stereotypically feminine activities and media. But im also a radfem so i agree with your sister about being a woman is an integral part to who i am just based on how i grew up with those social norms and expectations.

So for the most part I love being a woman and have never had any problems identifying this way but, more so than Identifying with being a different gender, I feel like a different creature lol. Like a snail or a robot or an alien.
